Responsibilities

Keysight Technologies is the leader in electronic test and measurement equipment. Our Solutions Engineering (SE) organization is the premier technical pre/post-sales support team in Electronics Manufacturing Test (EMT). As a Keysight EMT-SE, you will work with the world's leading technology companies to define and implement printed circuit board test methods and best practices. EMT-SE provides pre-sale and post-sale support to deliver products and services to support Keysight's growing family of test systems used to test electronic printed circuit assemblies in manufacturing. The EMT-SE seeks to understand customer problems, proposes solutions to meet those challenges, and ensures successful implementation at the customer's site.

You will spend 6-12 months in Novi, MI in a field staff position learning about Keysight products and technology while working on projects that prepare you for your role as customer-facing Solutions Engineer. Upon completion of the 6-12 months training, you will take on US Field EMT-SE responsibilities. This position is set up on salary for the first 6-12 months with an attractive incentive-based compensation plan provided once in your EMT-SE position.

This position requires the following skillsets and attributes with an emphasis on technical expertise and communication skills.

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education with emphasis in EE.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C# or CPP preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic circuit design concepts and basic electronic instrumentation
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Effective presentation and problem solving skills.
