About the Team/Role As a Back-Office Transaction Support 3, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payment operations. This position is responsible for performing and overseeing all aspects of daily payment processing, quality control, and issue resolution. This role provides critical support to both our partners and internal stakeholders, directly contributing to our financial integrity. Must reside in Omaha, Nebraska and/or surrounding areas. (Not eligible for remote work) Daily Transaction Processing:
Perform all aspects of payment processing, including reviewing, balancing, post-processing, and sending deposits. Create pull requests accurately and manage AM/PM pull request tasks. Perform ACH entry and verification procedures.
Process Improvement & Quality Control:
Create, maintain, and utilize spreadsheets to complete tasks, and identify and correct any errors. Identify process gaps and recommend solutions. Proactively identify and embrace opportunities to integrate AI and automation technologies into operational processes. This includes initiatives to drive scale, reduce reliance on manual processes, and mitigate operational risks.
Team Support & Collaboration:
Process cases in RightNow for partners and internal WEX stakeholders, including reprocessing requests, live money pulls, check copy requests, misapplied payments, and research questions. Resolve basic discrepancies and answer common questions by utilizing provided resources and escalating complex issues appropriately. Contribute to projects by completing assigned tasks and actively participating in team efforts. Foster a positive team dynamic and communicate respectfully and effectively to independently resolve team conflicts.
Operational Excellence:
Meet Payment Operations monthly metrics. Fulfill in-office duties as required for the Omaha and Fargo offices. Learn and understand RDCPoint functionalities to complete routine assignments.

Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration
Must reside in Omaha, Nebraska and/or surrounding areas. (Not eligible for remote work.) Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate software applications and use email. Ability to perform accurate data entry with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness and ability to learn new software and processes quickly. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must successfully pass a background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Accounting). Certification in a related area (e.g., Certified Payment Professional (CPP)). 2+ years of experience in payment processing or a similar role. Advanced knowledge of RDCPoint and RightNow systems. Proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to payment processing. Experience working in a remote setting. Strong preference for candidates located in Omaha, Nebraska due to required in-office duties, including package handling.
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
