Job Summary

The Paralegal role will be an integral part of our Legal team, supporting our operations throughout the United States. This individual will be responsible for assisting our employment lawyers with litigation, discovery, and various employment law matters. This position will be 100% remote and report to our Corporate Counsel.



Your Role & Responsibilities


  • Manage California Wage and Hour matters to include intake, investigations, and driving the matter to resolution
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to gather relevant documents and information for pending and threatened litigation
  • Organize and maintain internal litigation files, discovery requests, and update case status in Legal Tracker
  • Support attorneys in responding to government agency inquiries, EEOC charges of discrimination, and demand letters
  • Support compliance initiatives related to meal/rest breaks, overtime, and employee classification
  • Support the attorneys with settlement agreements and ensuring that settlements are timely paid and allocated properly
  • Assist attorneys with reviewing litigation invoices and compliance with outside counsel guidelines
  • Monitor changes in California labor law and advise the legal team on implications
  • Other litigation and paralegal operations duties as assigned



Preferred Education & Experience


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program
  • Minimum of 5 years as a paralegal, preferably in employment law or labor litigation

  • Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws and related federal statues
  • Excited by challenges and not fazed by moving quickly
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload, be responsive to legal team's needs, and multi-task in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups to set objectives and produce results
  • Be approachable, responsive, ethical, and kind
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient with Legal Tracker and Concur is a plus



The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $77,600 to $100,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
