The Maintenance Supervisor position is responsible for the direct/indirect supervision of maintenance technicians and contractors as they relate to operational reliability.


The Maintenance Supervisor will act as the liaison between operations, engineering, and maintenance, ensuring employees comply with all safety, environmental, and engineering requirements.

A Day in the Life

  • Creates and supports a GoalZERO culture and ensures that projects are executed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Manages all work activities of the assigned maintenance technicians, including site procedures, Code of Conduct, and all company policies.
  • Manages all maintenance costs within SAP, including parts, work orders, technician hours others.
  • Coordinates all aspects of preventative/predictive maintenance to ensure reliability.
  • Responsible for Contractor Management and capital project execution.
  • Interacts effectively with operations personnel to manage work priorities to meet the business needs. Partner with Operations Team to coordinate all mechanical repairs/routine maintenance.
  • Monitors employee performance, including work quality, time utilization, and behaviors. Hold employees accountable for performance. Provides clear expectations, feedback, and mentoring to improve individual performance.
  • Ensures employees complete and submit the appropriate documentation for execution activities. Ensures that all data gathering and records ultimately are loaded into SAP in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, drive improvement in others, delegate and empower others, be a champion of change, problem solve, and have excellent technical orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive quality and efficiency improvements in an organization.
  • Implements maintenance best practices in the areas.
  • Works closely with planning department to ensure job execution orders are planned appropriately.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities using time efficiently, plan for additional resources, organize schedules of other people and their tasks, develops realistic action plans.

You Bring This Value

  • High School Graduate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in field supervision and/or experience with SAP.
  • Experience in supervising maintenance crafts or coordination of maintenance contractors is a requirement.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Coach and provide feedback to achieve performance improvement.
  • Computer skills; Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
