Manufacturing Supervisor - AOI

Job Purpose:

In a team based environment the Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for multiple direct production personnel. This person will be responsible to meet daily production goals, train employees on continuous process improvements, and maintain high quality standards. Will also be responsible for maintaining level one preventative maintenance schedules. Will staff department and control overtime, cross train production personnel, and coordinate all outside processing.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Provides input on hiring of new employees.
  • Daily scheduling of priorities and directs assignments for employees in the area.
  • Establishes and provides support to ensure employee training requirements are met.
  • Obtains support from and offers support to other departments to sustain operations.
  • Provides technical support and ideas to improve performance and resolve problems.
  • Fosters employee development, accountability, and responsibility.
  • Sets clear consistent group objectives aligned with company's strategic priorities and interacts with all levels of management.
  • Interacts with team members to develop relationships in a work environment that promotes respect, open discussion, and communication
  • Continually seeks methods to improve quality and productivity. Looks for ways to streamline and complete tasks at a more efficient level.
  • Achievement of product quality and delivery objectives according to plan.
  • Reviews performance data to measure productivity against goals and to determine areas that need improvement.
  • Reviewsbacklog to determine materials shortages and capacity requirements to provide commitments feedback to customer
  • Coordinates the efficient expediting of materials and work in process with purchasing, production and engineering. Proactively identify areas of potential supply concerns, keeping in mind capacity constraints, shortages and communicates analysis/recommendations to all parties impacted.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions related to material planning and production scheduling.


Education and Experience:



  • BS/BA degree or relevant experience in PWB manufacturing or equivalent field
  • 3+ years experience as a Supervisor or production lead.
  • Ideal candidate must have strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • A working knowledge of PCB Fabrication manufacturing process is a plus and highly desirable.
  • Experience working in process related field is a positive, must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Multitasking ability is essential as this role will handle a variety of tasks and require interaction with multiple departments.

Salary Range (annual) : $77,000.00 - $90,000.00

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
