Under the direction of the Director, Resiliency Operations, the Resiliency Program Manager serves as the Enterprise Services Supply Chain liaison to all Mass General Brigham institutions and the supplier community. This is a very high visibility position as the incumbent would be responsible for managing all product interruption responses.
The incumbent supports sound decision-making by appropriate groups and individuals by providing them with needed information, data, and analysis on the product selection process, service levels and practice issues they face. Responsibilities include management of the Mass General Brigham pandemic supply and proactive measures to minimize impacts of supply disruptions.
This position will collaborate with others across the system, to include Emergency Preparedness and clinical leadership. Forming strong relationships with our key suppliers is also critical to success.
Education
Experience
3-5 years of experience required in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within a hospital or healthcare setting 2-3 years of experience preferred in managing contracts and vendor relationships
Leads Mass General Brigham's resiliency response by:
Developing upstream visibility of potential product interruptions from suppliers Anticipating and mitigating product interruptions through the development of strategies, such as leveraging pandemic supply as backup Mitigating impact of supply disruptions through internal communications, collaboration with Emergency Preparedness, supplier management and identification of alternative products/services Development of standard operating procedures when disruptions occur, to include dashboards to monitor each occurrence In collaboration with internal or external resources, lead the development of:
Proactively manages future supply disruptions through collaboration with colleagues across the system to ensure awareness and potential product alternatives are identified Identifies area for data improvement and works collaboratively with peers to correct Works closely with the Pandemic Supply Manager and serves as backup:
Develops partnerships with key suppliers to ensure proactive notice for any supply interruptions Constantly evaluate and analyze the external supply chain to provide early warning of any potential disruptions Proactively anticipates trends in seasonality to prepare for possible patient surges Actively participates in health care organizations to learn from others' success and apply lessons learned, as well as sharing our best practices Develops a geographic playbook by learning key supplier's manufacturing locations and raw material sources to help anticipate potential disruptions Determines a standardized approach toward product disruptions with rehearsed scenarios and communication protocols Serves as backup as approver for all pandemic supply requests
