The Lead Supervisor, Gas Dispatch, within the Field Operations Support & Controls position is a highly visible role. The ability to develop key metrics by working with the leadership team and using benchmark standards to create a first-class Operations delivery model. The ability to produce reports, including PowerPoint presentations, and having a strong gas operational, analytical background to analyze data is essential. Having the capability to present and write clear and concise explanations that explain various fluctuations and performance measures to senior leadership is a must. It will require a long-term commitment to the success of the Gas Dispatch Team. Location: Onsite Hanson Pl., NY Daily, we deliver safe and secure energy to homes, communities, and businesses. Lead the 24/7 team of Supervisors and dispatchers to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and Company policies and achievement of mandated emergency response and other internal targets. This position may require working rotating 8-hour shifts. Job Purpose
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): The primary responsibility of the Lead Supervisor is to work very closely with the Field Operations and Programs Organization by leveraging the capabilities (i.e., personnel, methodology, and tools) to identify opportunities for improvement in safety, operations, performance management, customer service, and compliance. The successful candidate will lead working groups actively collaborating in work and resource management and delivering improved end-to-end processes through diagnosis, design, test/refinement, and implementation phases while minimizing daily business disturbance and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position is responsible for facilitating effective communication between stakeholders. The Lead Supervisor, Gas Dispatch Operations, will Lead the development and delivery of standardized end-to-end processes to support future business. He or She will collaborate across all Field Operations and Customer Delivery Groups, driving consistency across all legacy operating companies with specific efforts to improve efficiency and leverage best practices.
