Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor: III (Senior) with a leading client in Columbus, OH. This is a hybrid contract position requiring 4 days on-site per week. Compensation: $28.00-32.00/HR Job Description: Under minimal supervision, processes residential loan documents from loan application to the point of submitting the loan package for underwriting and the preparation of closing documents. Responsibilities: Duties include working closely with loan originators and loan origination sources to gather or prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements, sending out verification requests, and keeping interested parties advised as to the status of loan applications. Performs some reporting functions. Incumbents in this group have no or limited previous mortgage loan processing experience. Reviews loan files for completeness. Works closely with mortgage loan officers and loan origination sources to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements. Sends out requests, and keeps interested parties advised as to the status of loan applications. Coordinates the request of additional information required from customers. Validates documentation for data integrity based on automated underwriting recommendations. Prepares and submits the underwriting packages. Reviews the pipeline management reports and loan origination system for adherence to scheduling requirements. Communicates any scheduling issues or concerns with managers or mortgage loan officers. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Six or more months of mortgage banking processing experience with FHA/VA/Client/FHLMC required. Excellent in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented. Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. PC and internet proficiency - loan origination software, imaging, Desk Top Underwriter, and Loan Prospector, UNIFI Loan Origination system recommended.
