Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Integrate Tableau visualizations and dashboards into web applications and other platforms, providing seamless and interactive data experiences Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver customized solutions Optimize embedded dashboards for performance and user interaction Ensure secure and efficient access to embedded Tableau content Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to embedded analytics Stay updated with the latest Tableau and web development technologies and best practices Provide technical support and training to end-users and development teams Requirements: Strong technical expertise in both Tableau and web development, along with a deep understanding of user experience and data visualization Proven experience as a Tableau Developer with a focus on embedded analytics Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server Expertise in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs Experience with authentication and security protocols related to embedded analytics Solid understanding of data visualization principles and user experience design Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Desired skills: Proficiency with the Tableau Embedding API to integrate Tableau visualizations into web applications Expertise with the Tableau REST API to programmatically work with Tableau content and users Experience with the Dashboard Extension API to create interactive functionality from other applications Experience with the Metadata API to query and Client metadata about Tableau content and external assets Proficiency with the Hyper API to automate interactions with Tableau extract files Experience with the Tableau Connector SDK to build new connectors from any database through an ODBC or JDBC driver Expertise with the Tableau Analytics Extensions API to extend Tableau calculations to dynamically include popular data science programming languages, tools, and platforms Experience with Tableau Web Data Connectors to connect Tableau to any data on the web Experience with Tableau Documents API to programmatically make updates to Tableau workbooks (reports) and data source files (XML) Proficiency with TabPY to execute Python scripts and saved functions via Tableau's table calculations Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
