Nokia of America Corporation, Senior Sales Account Director (Multiple Positions), San Jose, CA.
- Responsible for achieving assigned sales and development goals by managing and coordinating the overall sales activities in an assigned region, including major account management and development tasks;
- Evangelize the company's DWDM (Dense wavelength-division multiplexing) approach, drive new solutions and develop marketing tactics with partners;
- Apply a structured and disciplined approach using a direct sales model within major countries;
- Focus on relevant Submarine and Tier 2 accounts to create medium term revenue as well as development work inside PTT's and Tier 1 accounts;
- Ability to separate tactical from strategic opportunities and to apply a variety of classical account strategies as may be required to close each opportunity;
- Identify and work with accounts to provide solutions, develop new business, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships;
- Work with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account or partner;
- Design and implement a business approach/plan to win customers, and ensure the customers' satisfaction, and solidifying the customer's relationship with the company, and maximize the profitable selling of products and services and corresponding growth;
- Manage revenue goals for the given region and provide regular updates to senior sales/operations staff concerning account issues, financial status, etc.;
- Ensure the collection of market intelligence and technology trends in the relevant market in order to analyze and report such information to headquarters and product units;
- Recruit, develop and manage strategic partner accounts in countries where the company has no direct coverage model;
- and Stay abreast of current competition within assigned accounts and implement strategies to block competitive advancement. #LI-DNI
SALARY RANGE: $200,304 - 269,230 per year WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 5 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following:
- Provider market segments: Transmission Infrastructure, SDH, Optical Networks, xWDM, Ethernet and IP, Sub Sea SLTE market including cable systems, and competitors;
- Architectural requirements and the technical visions of a Telecom network;
- Business systems analysis and business cases development;
- Financial planning and cost management planning;
- Negotiation and supervision of contracts.
