The Challenge As the Senior Manager of the Cyber Threat Hunt team, you will lead Adobe's proactive defense efforts against sophisticated cyber threats that aim to evade traditional detection. Your role will be pivotal in designing and guiding strategic hunt campaigns, developing advanced investigative capabilities, and driving continuous improvement across the threat hunting lifecycle. You will collaborate across security and engineering teams to uncover the unseen, reduce attacker dwell time, and elevate Adobe's overall security posture. What You Will Do
- Develop and evolve our strategic vision for threat hunting to drive proactive defense and adversary disruption.
- Lead all aspects of a distributed team of Threat Hunters, in balancing critical incident response support with strategic investigations.
- Guide the team in completing investigations that are informed by threat intelligence and telemetry gaps, ensuring findings are well-documented with actionable insights including IOCs, TTPs, and mitigation strategies.
- In partnership with Detection Engineering, convert hunt outcomes into improved detection logic and instrumentation.
- Align hunt efforts with business priorities by partnering with Cyber Threat Research & Intelligence, CSIRT, Red Team, Security Engineering, and product teams.
- Lead rotational programs to upskill analysts and foster investigative excellence.
- Build a high-performing team through coaching, career development, and technical mentorship, while cultivating a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
- Regularly update senior leadership and partners on hunt results, threat trends, and program progress.
What You Need to Succeed
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years leading threat hunting or proactive defense teams.
- Demonstrated experience in threat modeling, conducting adversary simulations, and conducting investigations across a variety of technology platforms such as Hyperscalers, K8S, Lin, Win, Mac, CI/CD tools, and networking devices.
- Experience in hunting advanced threats using analytics and AI/ML methodologies.
- Strong understanding of detection instrumentation, telemetry sources, and threat actor TTPs.
- Demonstrated success in partnering across security, engineering, and business teams.
- Ability to distill complex findings into clear, impactful narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience building or maturing threat hunting programs, including playbooks, metrics, and tooling.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $155,200 -- $312,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
