Description
Overview/Function: A part of the business intelligence (BI) team, this support role holds responsibility for accurate system entry and validation of key business data and metrics, new customer setups, supplier information, financials, and tracking equipment. They are the initial source for ensuring data integrity of companywide BI reporting. A high degree of critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and accuracy are expected for this role. Major Responsibilities:
- Operate tasks outlined through standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the EDI platform end-to-end (partner setup, mappings, monitoring, issue resolution) and ensure all required regulatory/customer reports are delivered on schedule with auditable trails.
- Ensure data governance via Microsoft Purview (or equivalent) by maintaining classifications/lineage, enforcing access & retention standards, and running routine data-quality checks with documented remediation based on established procedures.
- Enter new data and correct/update existing data quickly and accurately into enterprise software and systems.
- Create and update customer accounts.
- Perform data and system validation and auditing tasks to ensure data integrity.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department to adhere to all data security, privacy, and governance standards.
- Ensure professional contact with internal/external customers which upholds Atlantic Bottling's brand image. Build positive rapport and favorable relationships with a variety of internal teams (I.T., Production, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, etc.).
- Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function.
- Other related duties and special projects as required.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years of prior experience in data entry/keying. (Additional related experience may substitute for education.)
- Good computer (MS Office) and database skills are needed. Prior ERP and/or Master Data background is ideal.
- Customer-focused and an excellent team-player.
- High degree of critical thinking, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations, and to adjust priorities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to professionally interact with a wide variety of departments.
- Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to work with minimal oversight.
- Ability to read, write, and sit for extended periods of time.
Additional:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some light filing is required. This requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend as needed. The ability to climb stairs is also needed.
- Work hours will mostly be Monday-Friday daytime; however some evening and weekend work may be required depending upon assigned duties and job demands.
