As we expand, vendor partnerships are at the heart of our success-and we're looking for a Director of Vendor Relationships to lead and elevate this critical function. Your Opportunity: As Director of Vendor Relationships, you will own the strategy, execution, and performance management of Gooten's global fulfillment and vendor ecosystem. You'll lead sourcing initiatives, ensure world-class vendor performance, and partner with internal teams to align supplier strategies with Gooten's growth goals. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution to drive scalability, resilience, and innovation across our supply chain. Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that strengthen Gooten's vendor network while meeting KPIs for quality, delivery, and cost.
- Identify, qualify, and negotiate with new domestic and international partners to expand Gooten's fulfillment capabilities.
- Manage supplier performance through accountability frameworks, continuous improvement, and data-driven reviews.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Finance, and Customer Success to align vendor strategy with business objectives and customer needs.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve vendor issues, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve service levels.
- Champion the adoption of new supply chain technologies, including ERP and vendor management systems, to optimize operations.
- Monitor industry trends, e-commerce dynamics, and market shifts to anticipate risks and identify opportunities.
- Serve as a people leader by setting clear objectives, fostering inclusion, recognizing performance, and coaching team members.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with global sourcing strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of management experience in a medium-to-large, fast-paced business environment.
- Proven expertise in strategic negotiation (RFQs, RFPs, MSAs) and long-term partnership management.
- Strong ability to locate, qualify, and scale new vendor relationships that drive growth and reduce risk.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights and strategic action.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to influence at the executive level.
- Experience leading supply chain transformation initiatives in a technology-driven or e-commerce environment is a plus.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $150,000-160,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
