Nexus-Woodbourne is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our Finance Business Office by providing site-level financial expertise and generating accurate financial statement reports. This role ensures data integrity, performs account reconciliations, and implements consistent accounting processes across locations. The ideal candidate will also contribute to audit preparation and maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and internal accounting manuals. Position Summary: Support the Finance Business Office by providing site support, generating reports in regard to financial statements, ensuring data integrity, providing account reconciliation, implementing site accounting processes, participating in audit preparation, and maintaining agency policies and procedures as well as internal accounting manuals. Primary responsibilities:
2. Assist with various financial reporting requirements.
3. Assist with the agency's development, implementation, and maintenance of the annual budget.
4. Maintain fixed assets through a computerized system and maintain appropriate site documentation.
5. Participate in the internal and external audit function for the agency. 6. Provide assistance to the agency in complying with licensing, governmental and other regulatory entities.
7. Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required by Nexus and/or the agency; understand and support the Nexus philosophy and treatment modalities. 8. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all Nexus/agency proprietary information; ensure confidentiality regarding residents' issues, background, and treatment; and comply with Nexus policies involving privacy and confidentiality rules for residents and their families. 9. Maintain policies and procedure accounting manuals for the agency in compliance with Nexus guidelines. 10. Interact with and appreciate people from diverse cultures, socio-economic and religious backgrounds. 11. Remains current on all required training and certification.
