Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and monitor sales goals for the team.

Work collaboratively with the outside sales management team to structure the Inside Sales Team in a way that promotes strong relationships and effectiveness in servicing new and existing accounts.

Develop and monitor programs and incentives to drive profitable sales.

Recruit, train, supervise and develop a team capable of moving into outside sales positions.

Coach and mentor the team in using an effective sales process (Planning, Listening, Closing).

Develop strong relationships with all internal and external customers through effective communication, proactive mindset, flexibility in problem solving, a sense of personal ownership and a passion for excellence in all aspects of your business.

Analyze sales and product statistics to maximize sales productivity.

Represent the Company at trade association meetings to promote product and customer relationships as needed.

Create a positive working environment for all employees within the Inside Sales team to foster an innovative and team atmosphere.

Create and analyze performance reports to make departmental decisions to enhance efficiencies and improve a variety of customer measures such as on time delivery, perfect order fulfillment and the overall customer view of Rocky Brands and their interaction with the company.

Collaborate with other department managers and directors to ensure alignment across the Company to customer-related goals and objectives.

Review and approve budgeted spending, labor efficiency and makes other decisions to ensure Company and customer needs are met.

Respond to customer concerns to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.

Review performance against business plans. Provides direction and develops and implements a change in plans if necessary.

Define and recommend objectives for team.

Identify training needs and initiates development of subordinates and recommends effective personnel action.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor's Degree or five (3) years of managerial experience required.

Excellent written and verbal communications.

Advocates the team concept.

Strong and fair decision maker.

Results oriented with the ability to balance all key business considerations.

Advanced level in Microsoft Suite of products & strong ability to adapt to Company chosen software.

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Pay

$40,000 + based on experience.
