Localization Project Manager Marketing Team This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Austin, TX (3 days onsite). Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Localization Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of localization projects. This role ensures timely, high-quality delivery of localized UI features while maintaining strict security and confidentiality standards. You'll collaborate with internal and external partners to streamline workflows and uphold consistency across all localized content and platforms. Our Ideal Candidate 5+ years of experience in localization project management or related fields Passion for language, technology, and product quality with a strong foundation in localization strategy and workflow management Proficient in project tracking tools and localization platforms, with strong organizational and communication skills Familiar with localization QA processes, translation management systems, and software development lifecycles Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, QA, and content Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail Job Description: In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of localization projects to ensure high-quality, on-time releases. You'll partner with engineering, QA, and cross-functional localization teams to define project requirements, track progress, and report on overall project health. This includes developing detailed localization documentation, overseeing translation quality, monitoring QA outputs, and maintaining glossaries and reference materials for consistency. You will also support internal process improvements and help refine strategies that enhance the efficiency and quality of localization operations. Bachelor's degree in linguistics, communications, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Background in localization, project management, or software development PMP or similar certification preferred Additional Requirements: This opportunity is located in Austin, TX and requires hybrid work (3 days onsite). The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $55.97 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
