Position Description:

Summary

Assist in routine administrative work, filing, and projects as need in accordance to specific instructions and established work methods.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in routine sorting, calculating, posting, copying, and filing.
  • Assist in maintaining files in appropriate location.
  • Look up information in tables, lists and reports; post information appropriately.
  • Perform light typing/word processing as needed.
  • Perform data entry in a variety of software systems and/or complete forms as requested.
  • Perform basic administrative support under the supervision of a staff member.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Perform basic research experiments
  • Support lab maintenance
  • Assist with research-based administrative duties
  • Participate in lab meetings, seminars, workshops etc. as needed
  • Collaborate with other research team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

Knowledge of computers

Clerical procedures

Customer service standards

Collaboration, and information management.

Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of research.





Preferred Schedule:




Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.
