Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented International Tax Manager with a minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience to join our tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the company's international tax accounting and compliance. The candidate will also be responsible for conducting tax research and assisting with income tax audits. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, finance, treasury and legal, and offers an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in a complex and evolving area of taxation and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Accurate and timely preparation of all international tax returns, including GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, BEAT, and FTC calculations and associated forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8992, 8993, etc., and FBAR filings for the company and its authorized representatives.
  • Coordinate and review local tax accounting and tax returns for foreign subsidiaries.
  • Assist external advisors and review global transfer pricing documentation to ensure compliance with OECD BEPS reporting requirements, including CBC reporting and Pillar 1 and Pillar 2, as applicable. Ensure global transfer pricing policies are documented, consistent and compliant.
  • Prepare international tax components of the quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Research complex tax issues, including PE determinations, sourcing rules, and taxability of various transactions across multiple jurisdictions. Stay current with changes in US and foreign tax laws, regulations, and court decisions, and prepare technical memorandums and documentation to support tax positions. Advise senior management on the tax implications of business decisions, such as mergers and acquisitions and intercompany transactions.
  • Support and manage international tax aspects of audits, notices and information requests from US and foreign tax agencies. Communicate effectively with auditors.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and potential tax exposures. Drive development and implementation of best practices for data collection, and compliance and reporting processes.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 6 years of progressive, hands-on experience in international tax preparation and compliance, either in public accounting or a large corporate tax department.
  • A CPA license.
  • Strong understanding of US international tax laws and regulations (e.g., GILTI, Subpart F, BEAT, FDII), transfer pricing, and an understanding of international tax treaties and global tax principles.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., OneSource, Tax Series) and Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Excellent research skills, with experience using tax research platforms (e.g., RIA Checkpoint, BNA, Wolters Kluwer).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


You have an advantage if you have:



  • A Master's degree in Taxation (MST or LLM).


Salary Range: $95,000 - $113,000

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
