Role Overview
The Manager, Pricing will be responsible for working with Business Development on a Global basis (Europe, Asia, Americas) on pricing opportunities and strategically thinking thru the best economic models to help win business for Sirva. This person will contribute to the data gathering and financial analysis directly related to pricing, as well as providing pricing to be used in new client pursuits and existing client contract renewals. This role will have any Pricing Analyst report directly to them in the Relocation function. They will be responsible for reporting on Pricing activities. This role will give you the opportunity to partner with the sales, risk, supply chain, operations and finance teams both domestic and global to determine the ultimate profitability of the company.
Responsibilities
80% Pricing Strategy, Pricing Analysis, and Pricing support
- Analyze client cost trends, move patterns and relocation policies to help set strategic pricing directions.
- Maintain, modify and enhance our various pricing comparison models. Keep these updated and as useful for product development as possible.
- Work directly with the SVP's of Sales on pricing bids and opportunities with the Sales Pipeline.
- Continue to develop our understanding of competitor pricing and product design through detailed analysis and dissection.
- Utilize margin pricing and cost analysis to improve corporate revenue.
- Assist in counseling sales and directors on the presentation of the pricing proposals to prospective clients and current clients.
- Gather / analyze data and perform product performance / price reviews.
- Ability to turn ambiguous requests into actionable tasks.
- Report directly to the Director of Pricing.
- Prepare special analyses in support of pricing and overall relocation strategy.
20% Supervision of Pricing Analyst roles
- Role will oversee the Pricing Analyst in the Relocation function. The Pricing Analyst supports the sales team with working up pricing proposals to support the Sales teams around the world.
- Perform supervisor activities associated with performance management and development of the Pricing Analyst.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills such as SQL, VB, Excel expertise (particularly with data manipulation and pivot tables), Business Intelligence tools or other technical programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
- Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing, act as a pricing expert with all levels of organization.
- Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or work in ambiguous situations.
- Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others.

- Relocation Industry experience is required, minimum of 7 years, specifically in the Relocation Finance area.

- Position Title: Manager, Pricing
- Salary Range: $125,000-$135,000 USD

Benefits are based on employment status and may not be available for temporary or part-time employees
Salary ranges may vary based on location, market conditions, and other factors such as experience and qualifications. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process based on these considerations.
