Position Summary

The Vice President, Addressable Strategy & Platforms will serve as a senior leader driving strategic excellence and in-platform execution across all addressable channels - including Search, Social, and Programmatic. This role bridges high-level strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership, ensuring flawless activation and measurable performance.

The VP will oversee addressable activation teams, ensuring alignment of audience strategy, campaign architecture, and optimization approaches. They will also own cross-functional collaboration with product, analytics, and planning teams to ensure platform innovation, automation, and data connectivity are fully leveraged to deliver superior client results.


Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership



  • Develop and oversee the roadmap for addressable excellence across Search, Social, and Programmatic channels.


  • Translate client business goals into actionable addressable strategies, connecting audience insights with performance activation.


  • Serve as a senior strategic partner and advisor, shaping client outcomes through holistic addressable planning and optimization.


  • Collaborate with leadership to evolve departmental standards, pitch narratives, and partnership frameworks.


  • Represent KINESSO's thought leadership in addressable innovation, measurement, and automation.


Activation & Platform Oversight



  • Oversee day-to-day activation excellence across buying platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Amazon DSP, The Trade Desk, DV360, etc.).


  • Ensure standardization of campaign setup, optimization, pacing, QA, and performance reporting.


  • Troubleshoot platform and data connectivity issues, coordinating with product and engineering teams to optimize automation workflows.


  • Oversee implementation of audience-based buying, custom bidding strategies, and cross-channel performance frameworks.


  • Guide best practices for leveraging clean room environments, API integrations, and audience sync mechanisms.


Data, Technology & Innovation



  • Champion the integration of data, audience, and technology to inform campaign strategy and decision-making.


  • Maintain deep fluency in evolving media trends - including signal loss, AI optimization, privacy compliance, and retail media network expansion.


  • Partner with internal technology and analytics teams to design automation, dynamic creative testing, and predictive modeling solutions.


  • Oversee performance analytics and dashboard reporting through tools such as Tableau and Looker.


People Leadership



  • Lead, mentor, and grow teams of addressable strategists and activation specialists across markets.


  • Establish staffing models, define role clarity, and ensure efficient resource allocation across accounts.


  • Serve as a senior escalation point for operational challenges and client issues.


  • Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement through training and development programs.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience leading addressable media strategy and activation across Search, Social, and Programmatic.


  • Proven experience managing large, cross-channel activation teams with a focus on operational excellence and measurable outcomes.


  • Advanced proficiency in major buying and measurement platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Amazon DSP, The Trade Desk, DV360, etc.).


  • Deep understanding of audience segmentation, data onboarding, clean rooms, and automation workflows.


  • Strong command of AI/ML-driven optimization, bid strategies, and cross-channel measurement.


  • Familiarity with API data transfer methods, SFTP, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker.


  • Experience with SQL, Python, or equivalent languages for performance data exploration is preferred.


  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex technical ideas into simple, actionable strategies.


  • Strong leadership acumen and ability to navigate across planning, product, and analytics teams.

The salary range for this position is posted below.
