ServiceNow Project Manager/Architect

Ellumen is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Project Manager/Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and modules. This hybrid role combines hands-on development with enterprise-level architectural guidance to ensure ServiceNow supports governance, modernization, and IT service delivery objectives across the government enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HR, GRC) and build workflows, dashboards, and enterprise integrations.
- Define and enforce platform governance, security controls, and development standards.
- Lead Agile teams in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, release reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead the architecture and design of complex ServiceNow solutions.
- Serve as the ServiceNow SME for government leadership, translating requirements into solutions and guiding roadmap decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Section 508, FedRAMP, and DHS IT security policies.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with active DHS Public Trust clearance (CBP preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or 3+ years relevant experience).
- 7+ years in ServiceNow development/architecture, with 3+ years in a senior architect role.
- Expertise in ServiceNow architecture, scripting, and integrations (APIs, web services, MID servers).
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience and IT service delivery knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical teams and government stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer; Architect certifications preferred.
- Experience with DHS or CBP programs.
- Knowledge of enterprise governance, TRM processes, AI/automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Section 508, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements.
