Job Title: Assistant Superintendent, Fleet Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Fleet Operations Reports to: Assistant Manager, Fleet Operations GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE: The Assistant Superintendent, Fleet Operations, is secondarily responsible for leadership and oversight of an assigned machine in the business unit after, and in relief of, the Superintendent. Primary responsibilities include safe operations and crews, maintenance excellence and housekeeping, on-the-job training, certification compliance, and talent and performance management for all crew members, resulting in service delivery excellence, through competent and engaged crews. Deliver unrivaled customer service by maintaining a well-disciplined and motivated crew and a safe and reliable machine. Responsible for the entire crew adhering to all Loram, customer, and industry rules, policies, and procedures to operate at the highest possible levels of safety awareness. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent Experience: 1+ years of understanding Loram Maintenance of Way equipment's role in a highly demanding customer service environment. 1+ years of demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. 1+ years of demonstrating technical skills such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and machine operations. Licenses/Certifications: All Railroad specific certifications to operate on track, Loram Operating Rules Certification. All Loram required E-Learning, On the Job, and 3rd Party Safety Training.
