Design Engineer Onsite in Greensboro, NC Description * This Design Engineer will 3D model, draft technical drawings, create CNC Files, develop set-up instructions, design layouts for the builds & set up of trade show booths & other various displays. Work Functions: 3D Modeling & Technical Drafting Model trade show displays in SolidWorks to match renderings and create production-ready 3D models. Develop technical drawings that guide manufacturing teams on how to build, set up, and pack the product. Create CAD files for CNC machining, accurate bills of materials, and job routing. Draft semi-technical drawings for client approval, including dimensions and material callouts to ensure alignment. Setup & Instructional Documentation Produce detailed setup instructions for show install crews, outlining how to assemble and set up booths. Participate in kickoff meetings to understand the customer's vision and design requirements. Review graphic specifications and coordinate with the graphics department. Crate Design & Packing Solutions *Design crate layouts and build instructions using 3D modeling to ensure each display component has a designated spot. Create documentation showing where each component goes and how the crate should be built. Develop packing solutions with detailed instructions and send them to production. Requirements:* * SolidWorks (High degree of expertise) * Knowledge of Construction Principles & Materials * Vendor Knowledge * Rendering & cost Sheets * Alpha Cam Abilities * American National Standards Engineering Drawing Knowledge Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
