About the Role:


We have an exciting opportunity to support our Technology team as a Vice President, Corporate Systems based in Shelton, CT. This position leads the modernization of Subway's key Corporate Systems across Finance, Legal, & Human Resources. This role works with Subway's business and technology stakeholders to define the strategy, technology vision, & product roadmap for the success of Subway's Corporate pillars teams in Finance, Legal, & HR.


The role will be the key leader in Subway's Finance Modernization program to transform the current legacy finance systems into a modern ERP at a global scale to drive better process efficiencies and internal controls for Subway. This will include partnering with Finance to develop overall accounting policies and controls to be integrated into a new ERP.


Additionally, this role will also lead the Technology PMO function with ownership for processes for portfolio management and financial management of all technology budgets & initiatives. The role oversees the PMO team and will work closely with the FP&A team for alignment & planning of the overall Technology portfolio budget.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:




  • Partner with Finance, HR, and Legal to define a shared product vision that supports business objectives and builds a modern, streamlined product ecosystem.


  • Lead the Finance Modernization program for the Technology team to design, implement, & integrate a modernized Finance ERP. Partner closely with finance & accounting leadership to define target state business processes and deliver an optimized global solution with the ERP implementation.
  • Responsible for the Technology PMO team that provides portfolio management & financial management across the entire global Technology portfolio & budget. Lead the team that provides portfolio management capabilities for all technology initiatives. Responsible for coordinating the overall Technology budgeting & forecasting across all global technology teams and FP&A.
  • Direct and manage the software development & support teams across all legacy corporate systems. Ensure the maintenance and enhancement are delivered on time and on budget in alignment with on-going business driven improvements.
  • Lead the strategic direction and implementation of automation and AI solutions in partnership with Finance, HR, & Legal to add business value through improved efficiencies and enhanced controls.
  • Set strategic technology direction for the corporate product portfolio that is aligned to a destination architecture and rationalization of legacy systems. Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture group on defining, communicating, and enforcing the plan for the transition of our legacy platforms.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree (Required).
  • 15+ Years of Experience in Technology and a strong financial background in Accounting or Finance.
  • Cultivates and builds collaborative working relationships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in evaluating Finance ERP solutions and implementing with a high level of understanding and ability to execute the delivery.
  • Proven leader with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate abstract concepts in verbal, written, and visual forms at all levels in the organization, translating technical information into business language and concepts.
  • Comfort leading highly complex development projects under tight timetables with cross functional & distributed teams.
  • Experience establishing a common architecture vision that is shared by technology and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent balancing internal teams and external partners / vendors to deliver projects on time.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and proposing IT investment opportunities.
