What will you do as a NAM Technical Manager at Sealed Air?

As a NAM Technical Manager at Sealed Air, you will play a key role in leading and developing the technical strategy for our Protective Packaging business across North America. You will partner closely with our engineering, operations, and commercial teams to drive product performance, optimize processes, and ensure excellence in technical support and customer satisfaction.


You will be responsible for implementing technical programs, coordinating cross-functional projects, and mentoring a team of technical specialists to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable packaging solutions that align with our business objectives

  • To identify opportunities to improve product performance, reliability, and process efficiency.



  • To collaborate with commercial and R&D teams in developing and deploying new packaging technologies.



  • To provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to plants and customers when needed.



  • To coordinate and support site audits, validations, and equipment commissioning activities.



  • To guide and develop the regional technical team, ensuring alignment with Sealed Air's strategic goals.



  • To promote a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement within the technical organization.



What skills do you need to succeed?


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).



  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical, process, or engineering leadership within manufacturing or packaging industries.



  • Proven experience managing technical teams across multiple sites.



  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and reliability engineering principles.



  • Knowledge of packaging equipment, automation systems, and materials science is a plus.



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across functions.



  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.



  • Spanish or French is a plus.



  • Availability to travel regionally (approximately 40-50%).



Compensation Data

Our range goes from 123,900 to 130,000 USD per year


The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs. Sealed Air offers a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits designed to promote well-being.
