Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver complex requirements to accomplish business goals Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces Awareness of development and testing practices in the industry Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Work closely with lead developers to implement Python/ETL application architectures and designs Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Liaise with business users on various enhancement requests and production issues Requirements: BS in Computer Science 5+ years of software development experience 3-5 year of Object-Oriented Programming experience Good working experience with Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC Good experience with Data Management/Migration Strong knowledge of version control (i.e. git, svn, etc.) Testing (unit, integration, etc.), along with test automation Agile development life-cycle experience Strong knowledge of SDLC Good understanding of regulatory rules and applications A self-starter who enjoys programming, can work as part of a global team and who has successfully delivered significant enterprise-scale projects to end-users previously Structured and logical thinking Problem solving Analytical thinking Results oriented Independent, self-motivated Python Agile Scrum Master Agile tools (Jira) Desired skills: Strong experience in development using Python Programming facility like PyCharm or equivalent Working knowledge of Unix/Linux Knowledge of any BI Reporting tool like Tableau/Microstrategy Pay Range: $64.68-$72.68 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
