Your Tasks

As Customer Operations Executive, you will deliver excellent supply chain customer service, from order receipt through to delivery and enable achievement of specific customer operational targets. Build strong customer relationships, to enable us to deliver supply chain best practice and continuously review order processing to ensure we achieve perfect order fulfilment, efficiently and effectively with the Customers.



Customer Supply Chain Development



  • Collaborate with the customer's supply chain teams to identify and implement opportunities.
  • Understand retailer extranet systems (if appropriate) and offer proactive solutions.
  • Maintain supply chain trackers, analyse data, and communicate action plans.
  • Coordinate plans for service levels, stock management, and new launches.
  • Support the Internal Sales Team in achieving sales targets by identifying opportunities and communicating actions to customers


Customer Focus



  • Define and track customer KPIs to ensure visibility and achievement.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to implement best practices.



Order Management



  • Ensure efficient order processing to meet service level targets.
  • Support the team in achieving 'perfect order' and suggest improvements.
  • Timely communication of new line information to customers.
  • Conduct regular audits to align product logistical databases.



Relationship Management



  • Be a key member of the cross-functional account team, leading supply chain communications.
  • Build strong customer relationships to understand and address their needs.
  • Organise regular review meetings with customer supply contacts.



Query & Complaint Resolution



  • Proactively address and resolve delivery queries.
  • Identify root causes and recommend timely solutions.
  • Implement process improvements to prevent recurrence and enhance cash flow.



Reporting



  • Complete service level scorecards and monitor customer KPIs.
  • Report daily orders against targets and communicate actions to managers.
  • Prepare internal reports on customer activities, issues, and proposed solutions.
  • Keep customer profiles updated for consistent high-level service.
  • Monitor account-specific measures and communicate shortages



Please note this is a 12 month contract


Your Profile

  • Experience within a similar role is desirable.
  • Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within a customer service environment.
  • Able to express ideas clearly and effectively in all situations and actively listens to others.
  • Quick learner of systems - such and SAP and competent in Microsoft excel.
  • Good understanding of operational FMCG Supply Chain.
  • Able to build strong relationships, influence and challenge others with strong perseverance.
