Job Description

Under the direction of leadership, the Client Legal Service Office Team Lead oversees a team of Paralegals and Administrative Assistants in the Baltimore Legal Services office. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, providing personnel oversight, analyzing trends, and developing and implementing office processes. Success in this position requires a balance of hands-on execution and strategic thinking, with a focus on driving process improvements, embracing change, and encouraging the use of new technologies within a traditionally structured office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the direction and oversight of intermediate projects and operational solutions to meet business objectives

  • Provide strong day-to-day leadership and performance management to a team of Paralegals and Administrative Assistants

  • Troubleshoot operational and workflow issues, working closely with staff to support continuous improvement

  • Analyze trends and assess performance to optimize file handling and ensure team goals are achieved

  • Support the adoption of tools and technology (e.g., TeamConnect) and drive change initiatives in a legacy-minded office culture

  • Collaborate with the broader leadership team to align team contributions with Client Legal Services priorities

  • Draft and implement communications and protocols related to Client Legal Services processes

  • Lead with resilience and flexibility, managing multiple personalities and adapting to evolving office dynamics

  • Help evolve and refine local office processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness

Education

  • 2-year Associate Degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • Prior experience in legal operations or office management with demonstrated ability to lead teams, support process enhancements, and implement change initiatives is preferred

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $61,000.00 - 106,210.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
