Under supervision of the Department of Transplant, the RDN (dietitian) assumes total responsibility, in the outpatient (clinic) setting, for the nutritional care of all pre, waitlisted and post-transplant patients. Assesses pre-transplant nutritional needs, develops and implements nutritional care plans, reports results as appropriate. Provides education on nutrition for patients and family members regarding disease specific need. Monitors long-term progress. Participates in various transplant meetings and committees. Serve as resource person on nutritional care of the pre- and post-transplant patient. Develops, implements and records in EHR the nutrition care plan for all assigned patients. Continuously evaluates and monitors the effectiveness and outcomes of medical nutrition therapy intervention. Actively participates in medical rounds. Participates in department's special projects, performance improvement activities, and research. Provides nutrition lectures and in-services to nutrition and medical staff as assigned. Collaborates with and mentors dietetic interns/students. May provide coverage for the other solid organ transplant services in the absence of the primary dietitian following all duties as outlined in the primary RD's job summary. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $80,883 - $106,757 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $38.74 - $51.13 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
