**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, from strategic sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and successful candidate closure.

* Collaborate closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop effective search strategies, and optimize interview processes.

* Craft and deliver inclusive and efficient candidate experiences that embody organizational values and mission.

* Drive alignment and facilitate decision-making among hiring teams throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

* Maintain meticulous pipelines and workflows within the applicant tracking system.

* Negotiate and close offers, ensuring alignment with compensation philosophy and role leveling.

* Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across all stages of recruiting.

* Manage headcount for client groups, supporting accurate tracking, influencing allocation, and assisting with requisition prioritization and reconciliation.

* Support the preparation and submission of candidate packets for review, ensuring accuracy, comprehensive feedback, and fair representation.

* Facilitate internal mobility processes, supporting transferees and hiring managers for effective transitions.

* Identify, investigate, pilot, and implement process improvements to enhance staffing efficiency and team productivity.

* Cultivate strong client relationships, providing consultative guidance on long-term hiring initiatives and managing expectations.

* Interpret and analyze staffing data and hiring trends to present actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision-making and efficiency.

* Engage candidates to gather insights on skills, motivations, and concerns, building trust and advocating for an excellent candidate experience.

* Partner with internal teams on offer negotiation and compensation analysis to ensure competitive and equitable offers.

* Collaborate with key business, staffing, and hiring stakeholders to develop solutions for diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives.

* Support candidate assessment and team alignment, screening candidates for interviews and managing the interview process.

* Manage relationships with key internal partners and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to address staffing challenges.

* Develop and execute targeted recruiting initiatives, influencing hiring managers on their hiring strategy to meet established goals.

**Must-Have Qualifications**

* 5 years of experience building teams as an in-house recruiter, ideally in a start-up or high-growth technology environment.

* 2 years of experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for recruiting.

* Proven experience hiring for both technical and non-technical positions.

* Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to influence hiring decisions.

* Experience working directly with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.

* A track record of successfully closing candidates and managing offer negotiations.

* Comfortable and effective working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

* Deep commitment to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in hiring practices.

* Proficiency in data analysis and synthesis to inform recruiting strategies.

* Expertise in candidate pipeline management.

* Strong product knowledge relevant to the roles being hired for.

* Excellent client/partner management skills.

* Solid understanding of employment laws.

* Familiarity with various staffing systems and tools.

* Strong networking abilities.

* Comprehensive recruiting knowledge.

* Client and domain knowledge.

* Exceptional interviewing skills.

* Relevant industry knowledge.

* Proficiency in staffing systems thinking.

* Experience with resource planning and headcount management.

* In-depth understanding of the hiring process.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**

* Experience hiring in the climate technology or energy sectors.

* Familiarity with grid systems, power markets, or renewable energy sectors.

* Experience hiring Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineers.

* Prior support of early-stage projects or incubator environments.
