PLM Analyst I, Engineering Services
Overview:
Within the engineering services department, the PLM Analyst I will drive Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process optimization. Their responsibilities encompass identifying continuous improvement opportunities, developing comprehensive process mapping strategies, and engaging collaboratively with PLM team members to streamline and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Essential or Primary / Key Responsibilities:
- Manage PLM roadmap and collaborate with Engineering departments to optimize & enhance current processes.
- Investigate and analyze the technological infrastructure and software ecosystem utilized throughout the organization.
- Coordinate and oversee collaborative initiatives with external consulting teams.
- Aptitude to learn new technologies/skills related to digital documentation and work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Investigate and assess the technological infrastructure and software ecosystem utilized throughout the organizational environment.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive documentation for Marotta's Windchill training resources.
- Ensure comprehensive instruction and guidance for personnel regarding Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system implementation, associated protocols, and operational procedures.
- Explore and document strategic optimization opportunities within the Windchill platform to enhance operational efficiency.
- Craft detailed documentation including operational guidelines, professional communications, and comprehensive procedural documentation.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
- Quality Control and Audits:
- Review and update documents for maintenance and quality control.
- Aim to be audit-ready at all times.

Work Environment:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Flexible Scheduling Options: Days and hours of work are either 10 hours/day (Monday - Thursday) or 9 hours/day (Monday through Thursday), 4 hours (Friday - Remote). Overtime and weekend could be required as job duties demand.
- No travel is expected for this position.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Demonstrates professional experience spanning initial three years in continuous improvement methodologies and hands-on implementation.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Engineering, and Manufacturing system architectures and operational functionalities
- Exhibits foundational proficiency in Windchill Product Lifecycle Management system, showcasing comprehensive understanding of its intricate operational dynamics.
- Strong computer literacy, with MS Office/PC expertise, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign Windchill, and Creo.
Additional Requirements:
- Self-motivated individual who possesses the ability to analyze, organize, plan, create a schedule to prioritize assignments, and achieve results.
- Strong business and technical communications skills with the ability to work in a team-based setting.
- Ability to run multiple projects at the same time and on schedule.
- Demonstrated effective verbal/written communication skills required for interacting with all levels of personnel both internal and external to the organization.
- Ability to provide employee training and development in an effective manner.

Pay Range:
$75,000 - $90,000/year
