Job Details
The Patient Safety Specialist (PSS) for the Department of Neurosciences is a core member of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Patient Safety Office and is specifically embedded in the Neuroscience Department. This role works closely with neurosciences leadership, Quality Improvement, and leaders and staff from across multiple areas. The PSS acts as a connector between frontline staff, local and senior leaders, and support teams, helping to build and sustain a strong culture of safety. On any given day, the PSS can be reviewing patient safety event reports, supporting local safety efforts, facilitating debriefs after critical events, or helping teams coordinate safety improvement projects that impact multiple areas of care. Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
