Elevate your possibilities The Johns Hopkins Hospital- Bloomberg 12 has a 15 bed acute care inpatient psychiatry unit and a 12 slot psychiatric Day Hospital for voluntary patients aged 5-17. Most commonly seen diagnoses include mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, bipolar and adjustment disorders. RNs in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) rotate between our three service areas: Bloomberg 12 South -Inpatient, Bloomberg 12 North - Day Hospital, and the Psych Pod in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Responsibilities in the three areas are similar: assessment, milieu management, de-escalation, medication administration and general nursing care, etc, though the workflow in the care areas varies. Patients in all three areas are of various ages (up to 17) and developmental capacities and come with a wide variety of mental and behavioral health issues. Salary Range: Minimum 35.02/hour - Maximum 52.69/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
