Worker Type: Employee The Opportunity: Develop and implement the strategy for the QBE Foundation North America Operations aligned to the global QBE Foundation strategy and QBE's purpose, vision, strategic priorities and group-wide sustainability strategy. Responsible for the development, implementation and end-to-end management of QBE Foundation strategy, partnerships, programs, initiatives and events in the NA region. 
 Location:  New York City, NY; 28 Liberty Street, 26th Floor, New York NY 10005Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week.The salary range for this role is between $135,000-$203,000 Your New Role: Strategy and Planning 
 Lead the development and implementation of the plan for QBE Foundation in North America, in alignment with global strategy and sustainability objectivesWork to incorporate the initiatives of QBE North America (including QBE Foundation and People initiatives) and develop pathways to facilitate communication between business units and integration of QBE social impact initiativesMeasure the impact of QBE Foundation partnerships and programs through B4SI and other social impact frameworks developed and implemented. Includes annual disclosure through impact reportProvide SME knowledge to tenders and client proposal to win and retain businessPartner with business areas to seek opportunities to demonstrate impact and unique value proposition created through the QBE Foundation partnerships and programsContribute to building a diverse and inclusive workplace through QBE Foundation programs and initiativesEnsure community partners align to QBE purpose, vision, strategy, and valuesPartner with Communication, Marketing and Sponsorship teams to develop and implement internal and external communications, marketing and sponsorship strategy to build brand awareness and increase reputation of QBE in external market, including presenting at conferences, forums and internal meetings and events. Policy, Process and Procedures 
 Lead and manage QBE Foundation NA Committee and engage regional representatives to execute programs and initiativesManage the annual community partner review and selection process in line with Global Terms of Reference and subsequent supporting materialResponsible for the completion of financial and Executive Management Board reports (for NA) as required and contribute to annual impact reporting process including investor analyst disclosures where requiredEnsure strong adherence to governance and due diligence is conducted of all QBE Foundation funding support and activity.Monitor and improve relevant policies and processes to ensure employees can easily engage in community initiatives (QGiving Guidelines)Work with HO Social Impact to develop processes and ways of working within the QBE Foundation, to ensure clear accountability and positive outcomesWork with HO Social Impact to improve communications channels which allow better collaboration across regions and business functions to deliver greater impact and outcomes when working with community organizations, sustainability initiatives and vulnerable customers Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus 
 Leverage QGiving and the Benevity platform to drive employee involvement and engagement in social impact initiativesLead QBE AcceliCITY activity locally working in conjunction with regional foundation managers for global consistencyLead the work to establish new partnerships in line with identified gaps in strategy and to strengthen processes and create efficiencies across partnership portfolioManage and build strong relationships with community partners to create long term sustainable partnershipsLead the plan to promote and grow Employee Volunteering opportunities i.e. Volunteer Days, Team Building, Skilled Volunteering ProjectsManage, support and attend QBE Foundation and community partner events and where required speak and represent QBEPartner with Employee Network Groups (i.e. QBE Pride and Sustainability Committee) to create synergies and leverage opportunities to connect to a broader audience driving sustainable outcomesPartner with business areas to create opportunities to connect our key customers with the QBE Foundation and community partners through events and sponsorship opportunities Technical Performance 
 Manage the QBE Foundation budget and planning process for NA regionAs the business owner, project manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of relevant systemsRecognize and manage risk by carrying out proper due diligence on potential partners and initiatives and ensuring up to date policies and guidelines are followed People Management 
 Coach and influence QBE Foundation Committee members, regional representatives and senior leaders to execute QBE Foundation strategyCoach community-partners to identify skilled and unskilled volunteering opportunities to offer to QBE employeesManage relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure connection between different business units and sustainability and social impact prioritiesEngage NA employees in the community and Sustainability initiatives of QBE Required Qualifications: Preferred Experience:

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience.
