 TierPoint is a Managed Service Provider that operates state-of-the-art data centers delivering enterprise-class Services including DDos, WAF, Advanced FW, disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), cloud services, managed services, colocation, dedicated server hosting and more with the highest level of security, safety, redundancy, reliability, scalability and technology. Our data centers are audited under HIPAA, PCI DSS, SSAE-16 SOC 1 Type II, SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 standards annually. The Product Technology Architect role will conduct the selection, design, and implementation of Single and Multi-Tenant Solutions within the TierPoint Product Portfolio. The Product Technology Architect will work in a team environment with other Architects, Engineers, as well as Product Directors. We are looking for somebody who has hands on skills and/or exposure to 2 or more skills within the Technology Stacks comprised of Network, Storage, Automation, Compute/Systems, Security, Backup/Disaster Recovery, Virtualization, and/or Cloud. The right candidate will have the ability to successfully work across multiple levels - with customers, teammates, vendors, as well as Executive Management. The Product Technology Architect must possess a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure combined with the ability to design technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients.Responsibilities
 
 
     Participate in a team setting around the Ideation, Design, and Implementation Activities surrounding new products in the Product Portfolio Designs and Runs bakeoffs, proof of concept tests, integration and acceptance testsLeads design and build efforts for new Product technology deploymentsWorks with other Architects on selecting new technologies for addition into the Product PortfolioBuilds and maintains lab and pilot environmentsincluding on-site infrastructure builds as requiredCreates System Design documentsCreates Operational DocumentationAct as an escalation point for complicated or critical production issuesProvide Subject Matter Expertise in 2 or more technology areas Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company valuesQualifications
 
 
     3 or more years of experience in a technical role including technical architecture and design or 8 years of relevant or equivalent technical implementation experienceDemonstrated experience to collaboratively engage the business and Product stakeholders towards defining existing & future state business capabilities, architectural impacts and multi-year Product Roadmaps.Responsible for solution integration with design, implementation, monitoring, capacity planning, all of which is coupled with a strong backdrop of automation.Proven experience in developing and evolving service provider level architecture strategies and roadmaps in one or more technology stacks.Expertise building and optimizing large-scale datacenter solutions, serving hundreds of customers.Knowledge of Internet Infrastructure, interconnection and service provider environments.Proven knowledge of 3 or more of the following technology stacks: (Emphasis on Automation/Orchestration)
      
       Network - Spine/Leaf Architecture, SDN, F5, AVI, Cisco/Dell/Arista NetworkingStorage - Pure, Dell, Software Defined StorageCompute/Systems - Dell, HPE, and LenovoSecurity - Next Gen Firewall, IDS/IPS, DDoS, Various Levels of Compliance (PCI, NIST 800-53, HIPAA/HITECH, HITRUST CSF, etc.), MDR/XDR/EDR, Endpoint SecurityBackup/DR - Commvault, Zerto, Ransomware Recovery, Automated RecoveryCloud - AWS, Azure, Google, Private & Multi-Tenant Cloud, Hybrid Cloud Automation & Orchestration - Custom coding, Python, Ansible, GitLab as well as other coding infrastructuresKnowledge of virtualization across compute, network, and storage platformsPrefer certifications in the above technology stacks.Prefer BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job ResponsibilitiesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work both independently and with others Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines Preferred Experience

We provide a compensation range for roles that may be hired in locations with pay transparency law requirements. It's important to note the pay range may be narrower than displayed, as various factors are used to determine the offered compensation package including skill set, level of experience, geographic locations, and other relevant factors- i.e. budgetary requirements.
 Pay Range $127,000.00 - $195,459.25
