 Responsibilities of the University Counselor include:
 
 
          
 Providing therapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, and groupsDeveloping and delivering psychoeducational programming and presentations on topics such as academic problems, alcohol and substance abuse, stress and anxiety, identity issues, eating disorders, and depressionProviding crisis intervention counseling and responding to emergenciesPlanning and executing outreach activities on topics such as substance abuse, test anxiety, stress management, and severe mental illnessProviding professional support services to faculty and staff regarding student concernsPlanning and implementing new counseling programs and servicesAssisting in planning and executing university wide programs, orientation, freshman assembly, freshman seminar, and classroom guidance information sessions for new and returning studentsAssisting in the administration of the University Counseling Center
