    Who You Are...

    As Financial Analyst, you are responsible for gathering and analyzing current and historical data to understand trends affecting the business, and providing strategic recommendations in areas of sales, forecasting, revenue and gross profit impacts. This role develops dashboards and reports, analyzes internal project and financial information, and executes forecasting and budgeting activities.

    Some examples of the work you might do includes:



    • Analyzes current and historical financial data and reports for trends, variances, and opportunities in areas such as sales, cash, revenue, gross profit, and other specific project performance metrics.
    • Builds and updates models for financial planning, analysis, and internal initiatives to predict future performance and business scenarios.
    • Uses dynamic models to develop different scenarios and "what ifs" from the data.
    • Presents data for reporting and recommendations through financial reports, charts/tables, slides, and other decision support tools using Power BI and SQL.
    • Creates and updates financial-related metrics/scorecards and KPIs comparing performance against plans for review by key stakeholders.
    • Organizes data by sorting numbers by category or data, adding formulas and functions, and using consistent formatting styles.
    • Functions as a system administrator for financial consolidation software used in planning and forecasting processes, which includes conducting user training, creation and update of various plans, forecasts, and actual costs, and ad-hoc reporting.


    What You Need...



    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or other relevant field.
    • Proficiency in math and financial concepts.
    • Demonstrated ability to understand and draw sound analytical conclusions from financial statements.
    • High level of proficiency in Power BI and SQL
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Excel and Sheets in particular).
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communicators.
    • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.


    Preferred Qualifications:



    • Experience with Adaptive Insights (Workday) Planning Software.
    • Experience in a construction industry environment.
    • Experience with Viewpoint Vista Software.

    Work Environment:



    • This position operates primarily in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.


    Physical Demands:



    • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
    • This is considered a light work position, which means possible exertion of up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten (10) pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
