This motivated individual, as part of the Technical Sales Field Service team, will be responsible for start-up and troubleshooting of Water Quality systems under the HF Scientific, Conditioning and Filtration and also Easy Water products and brands. This role bridges the gap between product development and customer application, ensuring optimal performance, integration, and satisfaction.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to support installations, Start-ups of new systems and troubleshooting of existing systems.
  • Communicate with customer pre and post startup to support testing, customer training and troubleshooting.
  • Create field service reports for internal and external uses, to document knowledge transfer.
  • Coordinate with sales team on questions for any replacement parts or recommended spare parts as it pertains to application on existing systems.
  • Support trade shows, webinars, and other promotional events as a technical representative.
  • Assist in product selection, configuration, and integration based on customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of factory processes, tool, materials, and equipment.
  • Travel Requirements: Expected travel across continental U.S. >50% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field service, system start-ups, or equipment manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with maintenance and chemical companies regarding water treatment systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and other relevant systems.
  • Excellent verbal and phone communication skills to engage clients and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ability to explain system functionality remotely via phone or MS Teams.
  • Must be able to train customers onsite on various water treatment systems and provide technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, regulations, and safety procedures at each job site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with water treatment equipment including softeners, filters, and reverse osmosis units.
  • HVAC license or certified plumber.
  • Experience with electrical systems or PLC programming.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment. You may be required to occasionally travel to and work in the office at the Fort Worth, TX location for meetings, trainings, or as otherwise required by Company management. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up 30 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with customers, management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves and safety glasses.
  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.
  • Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.

Pay Range:

The expected salary range for this position is $29.10 - $34.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
