Job Summary: The Email Automation Specialist leverages Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to design and deliver targeted, personalized email campaigns that deepen member engagement and improve marketing performance. This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Data Science, Member Experience, and Technology teams to ensure seamless integration with Langley's enterprise Salesforce CRM. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Manages and enhances Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to ensure email and automation programs run smoothly, reach the right audiences, and connect seamlessly with Langley's Salesforce system.
- Builds and manages dynamic, multi-step member journeys to support acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention campaigns.
- Develops engaging email templates, content, and calls-to-action that align with brand standards and drive measurable results.
- Collaborates across departments to design and manage targeted audience segments that support personalized, data-driven marketing campaigns and enhance member engagement.
- Defines KPIs, analyzes campaign results, and implements A/B and multivariate testing to improve engagement metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion rate, ROI).
- Collaborates with marketing, digital, and creative teams to ensure consistent brand and messaging alignment across email, web, and digital campaigns.
- Manages the ongoing growth and quality of Langley's email marketing lists, maintaining strong sender reputation, deliverability, and compliance with CAN-SPAM and other regulations.
- Maintains knowledge of email marketing standards, privacy regulations, and SFMC features to ensure communications remain compliant, effective, and innovative.
- Performs other duties and participates in projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months of employment required.
- Experience using marketing automation platforms to design and deliver personalized, dynamic campaigns.
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Analytics Builder, or Tableau preferred.
- Experience collaborating across marketing and data-focused teams to develop targeted member campaigns preferred.
