Job Description: Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Quality Analyst / Minister Delegate TCCA to join our Manufacturing department based in Mobile, AL. The Minister's Delegate is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and signing aircraft documentation to ensure the aircraft conforms to Transport Canada Type Design Data and is in a condition for safe operation. This is done pursuant to Bombardier Aerospace Engineering and Quality Assurance standards and procedures for the issuance of a Transport Canada Export Airworthiness Certificate per TCCA CAR 509.

Your challenges:
- Primary Responsibilities (90%)
60% : Perform duties to ensure that aircraft documentation is up to date and the "As-Built" status aligns with the "Target Definition" per type design. This includes managing the resolution of all discrepancies at the aircraft level in coordination with internal/external contacts (e.g., Design Engineering, Production). Documentation includes, but isn't limited to, Constituent Assembly Inspection Reports (CAIR), Aircraft Inspection Reports (AIR), Technical Logbook (TLB), and Quality Logbook (QLB). 30% : Issue the Transport Canada Export Airworthiness Certificate. This involves transmitting files pertaining to Aircraft Certification activities to Transport Canada. The role also assists the FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) for the issuance of the FAA Certificate of Airworthiness. The delegate must report to Transport Canada on export activities, attend all required TCCA training, and maintain the Transport Canada embossing seal and stamps per TCCA regulation.
- Additional Responsibilities (10%)
Other duties as assigned. Quality Management System Process Improvement. Liaison for Regulatory Authorities for Aircraft Certification. General knowledge of Lean Management with the ability to identify areas of improvement and propose solutions. Must understand Information Technology systems and their interfaces with one another.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training
Education: Professional education in aeronautical maintenance or engineering. Experience: At least 10 years experience in an aeronautical field (production, maintenance, and engineering). This must include 3 years of practical experience with respect to Transport Canada airworthiness certification and in regulatory requirements for the FAA. Licensure/Certifications: A TCCA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or FAA Airframe & Powerplant License is required. Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Competency to understand Company conformity attestation processes. Communication Skills: Able to read, write, and speak English proficiently. The ability to read, write, or speak a second language is preferred. Must effectively communicate complex issues to target audiences. Technical Systems Proficiency: Soft computer skills proficient with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP, Internet Explorer, and/or GSuite. Held the position of Authorized Inspector (MD, Category 1 or Category 2) at Airbus would be an asset.
Physical Requirements:
Physical Requirements: Includes vision adequate for computer screens, hearing for conversation and safety alerts, speaking for group delivery, and ability to operate equipment like hydraulic lifts. Also requires occasional carrying up to 20lbs/9kg and lifting up to 30lbs/14kg. The ability to work on movable lifts at a height of approximately 40 ft is also noted.
