Chargeback Inquiry Associate

Associate for supporting the day-to-day activities in Chargebacks. Offer customer support to both internal and external customers and ensure resolution of chargeback inquiries related to all aspects of chargebacks and accounts receivable functions. Provide guidance to our processors by researching, auditing and verifying chargebacks, to ensure daily productivity guidelines are met.

What will you do:

• Review daily to improve chargeback win/loss success rate process.
• Experience with Microsoft Office & Excel
• Assist with daily adjustments/auditing of chargebacks in the DMP portal
• Participate in all team training & testing as needed
• Respond to escalated or sensitive inquiries or disputes
• Subject matter expert to provide support for other Avis Budget Group regions
• Assist in developing new policies and procedures as needed, SOP's
• Compile data for reports as needed; responsible for 1104 research & clearing

What we are looking for:

Qualifications

• High School Degree/GED required
• Knowledge of banking rules and regulations helpful, accounting experience
• Ability to multitask priorities in a busy environment with fluctuating volumes of work
• Demonstrated history of accuracy and attention to detail, efficiency, and sound judgment
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills and the ability to act with discretion and professionalism
• Strong work-ethic and problem resolution skills are critical for success in this position
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, ability to navigate various PC systems
