The Opportunity

The Systems, Data Tools and technology team develops & manages Business Intelligence data systems, applications and processes to support our Customer Success, Customer Engineering and Professional Services organizations.

This includes creating and managing data marts, in-house custom applications (Panorama, CSM Alerts Subscription application, Slide-Builder, Operations Hub) and tools developed on multiple technologies including Web Applications, Workfront, ETL, PWRBI, JIRA etc. to support business process and integrate with our data systems.

We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Program Manager (EPM) who will play a pivotal role in collaborating across teams and leadership to understand their strategic vision and business needs with regard to data systems, tools and technology.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of success in program management. The candidate will have good familiarity with data systems, tools and reporting.

Knowledge of project management software such as Workfront, JIRA will be an added advantage.

This role will be located out of Lehi (Utah) or Austin (Texas).

What you'll Do
  • Collaborate across teams, partners and Business leadership across departments and levels to solicit requirements and translate the organization's strategic vision and ongoing business needs into actionable system requirements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our technical stack, understand systems architecture and dependencies, data-grain, product and data hierarchies across our data environment. Have the ability to technically solution for business problems and work with the Dev teams to architect concise efficient solutions.
  • Drive adoption of our tools and applications - Provide on-the-ground support, help and enablement to end-users as needed. Engage in UAT assessments, provide support for key complex product launches. Help with enablement and communications' teams so that end-users are equipped with new launches.
  • Provide specific inputs that will help optimize and automate processes, streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies by leveraging technology and data-driven insights. Leverage industry best-practices, AI and strong UI/UX and application design & engineering skills.
  • Strong program management: Actively maintain and groom the backlog of current and future systems' needs. Monitor progress using robust reporting mechanisms, proactively identifying, and addressing potential roadblocks/ project risk, and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Partner with Role-Excellence & Product Ops teams to drive change-management associated with large complex roll-outs. Maintain channels of communication with Role Excellence, Product Ops and End-users/ Leadership to drive enhancements and continuous improvement.
What you need to succeed
  • Degree in engineering, business administration, project-management.
  • Proven program management expertise, with a strong track record of operational excellence and good understanding of data system.
  • Proficiency in project and process management applications (Workfront, Jira SharePoint, Wiki etc.), with experience implementing and optimizing technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Certification in project/program management is desired.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for motivating change and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $143,200 -- $269,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
