Summary:

The Reporting & Dashboard Manager is responsible for developing metrics, data definitions, data sources for reporting on the project portfolio and on system projects against KPIs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Builds relationships with data owners across MaineHealth to streamline data management for active projects. Works across the PMO and broader Operations Transformation team to build and deliver Scorecards and other reporting mechanisms.
  • Builds portfolio reporting and data visualization including status to KPIs, overall portfolio risk and value. Compiles data from multiple sources to enable and deliver insights.
  • Present data-driven insights in a clear and understandable manner to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assists project leaders in building business cases with appropriate data/data inputs. Collaborate with Sr PMs and PMs in developing metrics to track budgets, trends, schedules and outcomes/deliverables on projects of varying disciplines.
  • With PMO leadership, hold oversight &maintenance of a Project Management Office activity tracker to ensure leadership visibility into project work across the MaineHealth System
  • Assists in developing strategic scorecards across the Operations Transformation portfolio.
  • Develop and implement data analysis and visualization tools for use by the MaineHealth Operations Transformation and Project Management Office and Leadership to provide timely, relevant information that informs strategic decision making and direction.
  • Solicit and implement feedback from PMO and leadership to consistently improve data reporting methods.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Data Analysis, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience:Three years' data analytics experience required; five preferred. Demonstrated history of creating complex dashboards utilizing data from varying resources to visualize & deliver key insights.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Understanding of balanced metrics; Excellent communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, expert level Excel and PowerBI skills.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Business analysis, data visualization, experience working directly with executive level leadership
