Digital Enterprise - Marketing Communications Specialist

The D405 Digital Enterprise (DE) Organization is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Relations professional to join our Communication Team. You will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic communication plans that foster positive relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) in driving our Digital Enterprise Vision for current and future class submarines.

The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Manage DE communication channels and drive the DE Communication Plan to support Digital Strategy initiatives
• Consult and liaise with (internal and external) enterprise stakeholders to build and oversee communication initiatives tied to major software upgrades, process changes, or program direction
• Craft compelling marketing and communication pitches that engage stakeholders, drive awareness and positive perception around Electric Boat's Digital Enterprise initiatives, and support organizational culture change
• Analyze communication performance and provide data-driven insights to optimize future strategies

Required:

• BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience
• Required to obtain / maintain an active security clearance

Preferred:

• Organizational Change Management (OCM): Proven experience in crafting compelling narratives to drive organizational change - OCM Certification is a plus
• Project Management: Experience managing cross organizational projects
• Defense Industry Experience: Experience driving communication initiatives within the Defense Industry
• Background in Graphic Design is a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Public speaking and presentation experience
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong understanding of perception and brand management communication tactics
• Customer-focused and excellent project management and communication skills
• Advanced experience with PowerPoint for creative marketing pitches
