Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. We are curretnly seeking a Junior Help Desk to support one of our contracts.



Minimum Requirements

    2+ years experience in Helpdesk/Desktop support
  • Providing first and second-level technical support to end-users for desktops, laptops, and related hardware/software.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with operating systems, applications (especially Office 365), and network connectivity.
  • Managing user accounts and permissions using Active Directory.
  • Configuring and deploying new hardware and software.
  • Performing system maintenance, updates, and migrations.
  • Documenting support requests, solutions, and incidents.

  • Operating Systems: Deep knowledge of Windows and potentially Mac OS.
  • Networking: General understanding of concepts like IP routing, DNS, and common network hardware (routers, switches).
  • Microsoft Ecosystem: Expertise in Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Outlook.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills, with patience, empathy, and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks without constant supervision.
