Your responsibilities
Position Overview: The Sales and Business Development Laboratory Automation is a strategic sales professional responsible for driving growth in laboratory automation solutions across cement, minerals, and otherindustries. Responsible for expanding the automation product revenue in the US and Canada through new installations, spare parts, field services, and upgrades. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term strategic sales plan for customers including targets and goals for Spare parts, Field Services, and Modernization.
- Drive year-over-year revenue growth while maintaining margin targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities utilizing market research and other tools. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and serve as primary customer contact.
- Conduct regular site visits and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on service products and upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
- Perform client presentations and communicate clearly the core values of our products.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategy.
- Provide feedback for product development and strategic planning.
- Maintain deep understanding of customer industries.
- Track pipeline, sales metrics and frequently update account strategies.
- Prepare quarterly business reviews and monthly performance reports.
- Utilize CRM platform to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will have no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Your profile
Required Education & Experience: College degree or 5 years of relevant Sales experience. Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Demonstrated business acumen in balancing customer and business requirements, i.e., financials, strategic, and tactical thinking etc.
- Excellent level of verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to convey technical information to audiences effectively.
- Inherent ability to work effectively in a team environment and strong desire to be successful.
- Organization and time management skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment, and impeccable follow up ability is crucial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to quickly learn and use new software tools.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the industrial or cement plant sector. Strong technical knowledge of cement plant or non-cement plant equipment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
Knowledge of customers and competitors is a plus.
Travel Demands: Ability to travel frequently to customer sites. Flexibility to accommodate travel schedules and customer requirements.
