Job Summary: The Utility Technician - Yard Attendant supports daily operations of the equipment yard by coordinating the movement, staging, and organization of heavy equipment and attachments. This role is responsible for checking in equipment upon arrival, maintaining accurate records, and efficiently placing equipment throughout the yard. The Yard Attendant also assists with loading and unloading equipment for customers, drivers, and internal teams, while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized yard environment. Responsibilities: * Receive, inspect, and check in heavy equipment and attachments upon arrival. * Maintain accurate documentation of equipment movement, condition, and placement. * Organize and stage equipment in designated yard locations based on operational needs. * Load and unload equipment for customers, service technicians, and transport drivers using company-provided machinery (forklifts, loaders, etc.). * Ensure the yard is clean, well-organized, and free from safety hazards. * Perform daily equipment walk-arounds and report any damage or maintenance concerns. * Assist with inventory control, tagging, and tracking of equipment and attachments. * Follow all Fabick Cat safety policies, operating procedures, and equipment guidelines. * Support additional yard or facility responsibilities as assigned. | |
