Description Position Overview Join the National Security Sector at Leidos to support the crucial ACCA5JI JINTACCS mission. In this role, you will act as a Tactical Data Link (TDL) Systems Engineer, providing essential support to the USAF TDL Configuration and Logistics (C&L) process. You will play a vital part in providing TDL operators, planners, and users with a valuable resource to improve the operation and performance of tactical systems and data links. Primary Responsibilities
Analyze and Characterize TDL Systems:Research and analyze TDL systems test reports and implementation databases to characterize how warfighters share information across TDLs. Focus on providing accurate C&L information and approved Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for AF TDL systems. Maintain and Update C&L Information:Review and update Capabilities & Limitations (C&L) information to reflect jointly agreed-upon core TDL aspects. Present information concisely and practically, using terminology and examples relevant to USAF combat operators. Coordinate and Vet C&L Materials:Distribute newly developed C&L material to the appropriate weapon system's technical community for validation. This includes working with the weapon system's Program Office or assigned Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure accuracy. Ensure Data Integrity:Verify that all C&L information complies with established business rules, including applying proper security classification markings and maintaining consistent spelling and formatting. Develop Interoperability Reports:Research, draft, and coordinate the development of interoperability reports for platforms included in the C&L Operator Research Tool. Create Official Documentation:Research and gather information to develop and support official documentation such as Background Papers, staff studies, Talking Papers, and presentation materials as assigned by the government.
Basic Qualifications
Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or information technology, and 4 or more years of recent experience performing TDL analysis or operating USAF TDL systems using applicable military standards (US Mil-Std 3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, and 2045-47001). Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Web Content Management:At least one (1) year of experience with web content development and management. Security Clearance:Current or Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Pay Range:Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
