Provides in-person, front-line student support in a computer classroom/lab for diverse adult education students. Assists and guides students with log-in support for learning platforms, email, technical troubleshooting, and related computer usage matters. May also perform related data entry functions using program databases and spreadsheets. Must demonstrate patience and the ability to develop a positive rapport with a diverse population of adult education students. Also provides in-person administrative and technical support for instructors. Essential Functions
50% - Supports students and instructors in a computer-equipped classroom; resolves log-in issues; guides student use on multiple learning platforms; maintains logs and data spreadsheets; troubleshoots equipment and software issues; supports student registration process 25% - Collaborates with instructors, staff, and managers to support student success; provides appropriate hands-on workshops as needed; monitors laptop checkout procedures and laptop inventory; reports technical issues; ensures secure storage of equipment 25% - Assists with data entry and other related tasks in support of operations at the location Minimum Qualifications
