Job Description (General Summary)

Intralox, L.L.C. a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services is seeking a highly motivated and self-managed individual to work as a Material Handler in its Modular Plastic Belt Assembly Operation. As a key member of the Order Fulfillment group, the Material Handler will be responsible for organizing inbound / outbound workflow and executing tasks that facilitate material movement for Assembly shift start-up, preparing finished belting, packaging belting for storage, addressing part availability needs, and delivering finished goods to the warehouse. In addition, you will learn, and support conveyor belt building tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Review web-based dashboard to determine and deliver next up order to assemblers
  • Remove empty carts and return to warehouse
  • Sort and organize pallets for reuse or recycle
  • Sort and organize boxes for reuse or recycle
  • Submit parts request for the Assembly team
  • Deliver parts request to Assembly team members
  • Follow the attendance policy of the Assembly Department
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies .
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Stable work history
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 40 pounds
  • Exhibit teamwork and self-management
  • Work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required Ability to perform essential physical job requirements which include lifting 25 lbs. to 60 lbs. regularly and 60+ lbs. occasionally.
  • Diligent and self-managed team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Solid math and computer skills
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating a fork-lift or pallet jack a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and/or Kewill operating systems.
  • Prior experience with air tools including nail gun.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
